In the end though, it boils down to some people (like me) liking the idea of being devoured and nurturing the predator, but not having to die forever in order to do it. So if they consume a prey whose 6'2" and 210 lbs, they may be reformed being 5'11 175 lbs.
The Predator retains the preys soul/essence within them and then focuses the energy into a physical form with the remaining matter of which they choose to leave the prey with. This mass is usually deducted from or added to the prey through weight or height. When reforming the predator can choose to absorb/retain part of the mass/matter from the prey, retain none of it, or even transfer some of their own mass to the prey. So where does the new matter come from to "reform" their bodies? It wouldn't be from the dragon, as there would have been no point eating them in the first place. Realistically, if the dragon digested them, something close to 80% of their bodies would essentially be turned into 'dragon'. There has never been an intelligent explanation for this reformation nonsense, so I guess the next best thing is to make fun of it.Ĭonsidering we're dealing with fantasy and anthropomorphic creatures, it's all "nonsense" really.
